To give you an update from the period before the news releases:

We have funded and founded the company june 2011 after a year preparation period, soon after that we have expanded the team, rented our office and just started.

End of august 2011 we have made a first production batch resulting in the availability of samples per september. Since then samples have been distributed for evaluation in existing processes replacing fetal bovine serum at various academic and research institutions in Europe and the US.

Quality control has been carried out at a commercial lab in Germany were currently new applications are reviewed.

The first external activities are this web site per october 1st and the Biotechnica 2011 Fair in Hannover. Since november the Hannover-visitors have recevied samples and they prodcued the first external results.

In december we have visted Denver (ASCB 2011) and again 150 samples have been sent out, mainly to the US. Results are dripping in and without exeception are succesfull.

XF205
In december 2012 we have introduced samples of XF205 to the market; this concentrated version has a few advantages over XF201 like: smaller storage and handling, lower PBS contents and a lower price. SInce XerumFree is alwasy produced under cGMP also XF205 is available in cGMP from April 2013.

Future news
We expect the next news items to be the announcement of our animal free cryo preservation medium XerumFreeZ™ that is currently being in production start-up.

Further away we have planned to bring ready-adapted cell lines to the market.
